Where is the best place to measure your four-legged friend’s neck? Right at the nape. Usually, this is where the dog’s neck is the widest. Therefore, considering this circumference, you can be sure that the collar bought for this size will fit your dog.
Why should you measure your dog’s neck circumference and not buy collars thinking that your dog is a typical M or L? Choosing a size based on centimetres is much more accurate. Different brands have different sizes. Therefore, if your dog wears a given length from one manufacturer, you can’t be sure that the other will be the same.
